It's, It's A Ballroom Brits! - Part 5
It's the end of a long night, and tensions are once again running high. The friendly competition between the various media peoples to get interview time with all the winners has started to stray into slightly less amicable waters, not that anyone will admit it of course, we're all one big happy family here. Having said that, it does seem to be time for some people to start thinking sneakily if they want to get face-time with an award winner. Take [unnamed radio station] who buttonholed Mika AND Sir Paul with the exact same scam.
Basically they lay in wait for their chosen star to walk by, then a representative of the station (male for Mika, female for Macca) came out with a bottle of champagne, which they handed over with the words "Congratulations! Well done!...er...you'll do ten seconds with us, won't you?"
Now it may sound unsubtle, but I am here to tell you that BOTH men fell for it. They are officially anyone's for a bottle of free bubbly. Who knew?
And on that note, it's time for a tired and achy ChartBlog to sign off. But I leave you with one final scurrilous rumour which is doing the rounds.
It seems that despite performing at the show tonight, neither Rihanna or Leona Lewis are prepared to talk to representitives of the media about anything at all. Not a thing.
It also seems that neither Leona or Rihanna won any awards tonight, despite both being nominated.
Now, I am not saying these two facts are related. BUT OMG OTHER PEOPLE ARE...

Thank you, that was far more entertaining than watching it on telly.
As was cleaning the fish tank, making bangers and mash and doing the dishes. T'was boring this year. Didn't anyone think to invite sam fox or jarvis?

Not trying to sound rude, but I didnt particularly enjoy the brit awards.
I mean, I dont like Take That, Rihanna, Leona Lewis, Paul McCartney, Beth Ditto, Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs, Kylie Minogue, Amy Winehouse, Adele....the rest I DONT MIND THAT MUCH.
So it wasnt the best program for me personally. Oh well.
And have you realised that I haven't been here on absolutely ages? Hope everyone missed me ;)
