All Change At ChartBlog

Post categories:

Take a good long look at ChartBlog as it is right now...it won't be like this for much longer...*sob!*

Actually, it's not that bad, but there is a significant change coming to ChartBlog (and all ´óÏó´«Ã½ blogs) which will hopefully make the act of leaving comments a lot better in future.

The problem with things as they are, is that our servers have been under attack from evil spammers, which has caused no end of trouble. If you've ever tried to put a comment on a ´óÏó´«Ã½ blog and found that the page has timed out or worse, the comment has just never appeared, that'll be why.

So, from tomorrow, we're doing things slightly differently. You'll still be able to leave comments, but you'll have to register your details with us first. It'll be fairly clear how to do it, and it's just a way to make sure that you're not trying to publicise a site which sells sex-pills or an operation which will increase the girth of something.

In order to make the changeover, we've had to stop all new comments going up from 6pm tonight until early tomorrow morning. After that, it's a Brave New World.

See you there!
