Or possibly a rare bout of honesty from a publicity office.

You can imagine a publicist waking in a cold sweat in the middle of the night, remembering the sycophantic tripe he wrote for the last James Blunt single, running to the window and shouting "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!" then racing to his computer to undermine the system with a cleverly edited tagline....

    bit harsh on adele though.

    ..cted by Matt Kirkby.

How about you provide a direct link to the thing instead of just deceiving people.

Or did you used to work on Blue Peter?

I did link to it! Here...

And can I let you into a little secret? I knew it said "directed" and not "dire" ALL THE TIME!!

I'm not defending her, I think shes tat.

I just think the ´óÏó´«Ã½ should take a bit more responsibility when posting blogs, to link to A) The original article or B) The video in question. Its irresponsible of you not to.

    Good grief it's ChartblogAdeleLinkGate!

The DG must make a statement immediately!

Though to be honest I don't imagine anyone really thought the tagline said dire.
