I'M TELLING YOU THERE'S NO POINT IN IT.

Chris Evans | 15:32 UK time, Thursday, 13 September 2007

No point in what ? Absolutely no point in...

... arguing. I used to do it a lot and now I don't do it anymore, my life's so much better for it. I've thought about it and figured out that it's a completely fruitless exercise.

The reason people argue is beacause they don't want to agree with each other, not because they do want to agree with each other. If arguments ended in agreement, people would stop having them.

Disagreements on the other hand are cool. I disagree with lots of people about lots of things but I still like them and find our relationships richer for it.

That's the end of that.

So how do you manage to agree to disagree? I find it really difficult. I just can't seem to keep my mouth shut when I disagree with someone, and then we end up arguing (this always happens with my husband). I find that people think I think like them and I don't, and when I tell them we end up arguing. I guess I bring out the worst in them.

Debbie - Hope youre feeling OK today.
