BLOG 310 from ZUMA.
Why do I do it ?...
...trying to do too much, now I'm late and everything is anxious and heart attack inducing. The traffic's too busy, the sun's too hot, there are too many people on the pavement, the lift's too slow. Agggghhhhh but of course it's all my fault for trying to do too much.
Started the day waking up at a friend's house in Ascot after staying at his to watch the golf (who said play offs were dull ?) last night. The trailer has many things but not Sky telly unfortunately. Stayed on to watch a movie, Nicolas Cage and Meg Ryan, fantasy froth but a good excuse to finish off a bottle of rose. By the way rose wine, the cheaper the better and yet to get a hangover from the old rose.
Drove back to camp for nine, wife had a meet with the builders and I had to meet up with a magician of a man called Russ, one of the greatest car mechanics in the world. Now here's when the day started to back up when I wondered could I squeeze a bit of flying in, my hours have recently taken a knock and to forget to fly is to, well.... you know. So fly I did, off to the new forest for a recce and a cup of tea at a future regular destination, got back in time-ish but then, lunch, the M25 and mad sweaty breakdowns on the Marylebone Road meant the gym was cut down to a shower and a sweaty run back to the car. Anyway here now, the show comes first and right now back to a very impressive just four minutes behind schedule.

I am a little intrigued by him admitting that he drinks rose wine. I had a glass at a BBQ the other weekend and got no end of grief from the hunter gatherers that I was drinking a girl’s drink. Of course I took no notice of those bullies ;-) and drank far too much for my own good. I can however agree with CLP that I did not suffer from a hangover. He may be onto something here.....
