Well Done Chris, Go You!! Last year was our centenary year for the British Red Cross and we hosted our first Jump For Life event at Netheravon. This followed an all female jump team attempting a world record for formation diving in the shape of a cross which was amazing.

You said that you would do it agian-would you do it for us?

Chris for those of us in the car, who hadn't seen your blog, having Mr Sauders start the show was a tad worrying. You tease!

Well done you, you are very brave and the video is awesome.

But I would still never do it in a million years.

Keith I think that is a great idea. But I'm afraid I would have to donate the money without actually doing the jump.

F Word on soon, but I'm going to skip the bit where Elton and David get slaughtered. I know that my meat has to die before I eat it but I don't feel the need to watch it being killed.

Mr Debbie doesn't understand that I can't watch the bits on wildlife programs where the hunter catches it's prey.

I suppose I'm just a wimp lol!

The wedges were great, they even smelt great before I cooked them. Loving that smoked paprika.

I don't think I got them crispy enough though, maybe because I used olive oil, or too much of it?

Just finished watching the second episode of Bonekickers - very strange watching actors in my own part of the country where I grew up. The last part of the island fortress was based on Steep Holme with the fortress being the one on the end of Brean Down.

A win for common sense at last - phew most of us have seen a youtube video at some time in the past.

I'm personally quite happy to see what people write on this blog and CLP is always at the forefront of most people whatever he is discussing - wonder how enzo is doing and how is beth's puppy training.

He shares a little of his personal life so why can't other people do likewise for him to read.

I realise I am risking the wrath of the board here but I think that Coco was right to say that a lot of the posts are not in response to the blog but to other posts on entirely different subjects.

It can be a bit of a challenge wading through all the posts in order to find something to comment on, but there again that is my problem not the other posters.

These may well be subjects close to the heart of those posting them but as for the rest of us ....?

There again maybe that is the magic of this place and I should go elsewhere if its not what I want.

I'll just shut up now.

Ted, I just think the blog has been and is great but if it is reduced to a few chatting females who I can't imagine can find the time to blog when they are working it sort of devalues it.

Chris, respect - I don't think I could ever do that! On my list of things to do before I die is conquer my fear of falling though so... maybe one day.... well you never know. Keith if enough people persuaded me maybe I'd take the plunge, so to speak. Pictures look brilliant Chris, how excited do you look in all of them!!

Oh well now - just watched the video! Hmm, not enough time to be scared? Well now. I think that video has just made skydiving on to my top ten list of things to do before I die... it may even make it onto a top ten of things to do before I reach a certain age at this rate!

Always an adventure going to the butchers. Haven't told Mr Jumpy yet as I don't know if he'd eat them if he was told the ingredients...

Rosie.... I have got to ask, why were you climbing onto a coolbox? But admiring the stilettos :) mine come out very occasionally and always surprise me with how tall they make me :) love 'em! Hope you're not so sore by now!


's all I can think of for now, not much time as am entertaining an old friend this week. Will pop in as and when though. Part of me agrees with Coco - it's really hard trawling through 200+ posts when you've missed only one day - and then you wonder what everyone's chatting about! But then... when you're in the chat itself... it's kinda engaging and you never want to stop...


'Nuff. Need to get up and dressed and sorted out and get my friend to the train station - lucky gal's off to London for a day and a half to meet some boys and go shopping!! Now that's the life eh :)

It perhaps could equally be said that those who want to chat could easily do so on FB or in a 'chat' room? And perhaps more appropriately?

Interesting subject Bullies though. I use to have a girl follow me home most nights picking for a fight. She never actually did anything and it now makes me think she was only looking for a friend.
