Jimmy Osmond ! What a lovely guy...

Chris Evans | 05:20 UK time, Monday, 12 March 2012

Another excellent enlightening force for Friday. And now I file this blog live from the toilet cubicle just opposite The One Show production office. Actually we should call it The Formula One Show tonight as we're joined by Jake Humphrey and David Coulthard talking about the new season which kicks off in Oz next weekend.

Hope your own Friday night show is shaping up how you'd like it. See you for more radio on the other side come Monday morning.

Peace and Love

Morning Chris, Breakfast Team and blogheads everywhere

Nice of you to post a new blog on Friday from The One Show cublicle Chris - did it get stuck in Doctor Who's wormhole over the weekend?!?! ;-)

Bids - sending you much love for your #1 grandson. Here's hoping he's up and about causing chaos sooner rather than later.

Annie - your description of your Loch-side picnic paints a lovely picture. We're hoping for a stellar summer this year so that we can take Mr Bonkers Four Paws out and let him run off his energy!

Busy day ahead - loads of housey/domestic Goddess stuff, some mini roundabouts to be cleared and patio scrubbed down out in the garden (although better than the Randall Roundabouts are in the garden than in the house!), our inaugural trip to the vets (HELP!!!!!) ...... I may even get some of my VA work done if I'm lucky!

And sausages for tea, if I remember to get them out of the freezer!

Have a lovely day, however you're spending it.

    Muchos Amore,

    Deevs

    Hello CE & Everyone,

Chris - I'll reply to your blog on Thursday :)

No! I'll do it now! I like all the Osmond's, they are so down to earth and have not been affected at all by their showbiz lifestyle. I remember little Jimmy in the Big Brother house, he was the one who calmed things down when it was all kicking off.

Strewth! It's time again for the Grand Prix season starting as you say in Australia. My son is planning to attend the second one the following week in Malaysia as he will be in the vicinity at the time.

Deevs-Good luck with Randall at the vet.

Bids-I hope No 1 grandson will make a very speedy recovery, it must be so worrying for all of you.

Thanks again Chris for the blog from the bog!

    Hellooooo!

Does the tardiness of this blog mean we will get another today? :-))

Really Chris, I'm sure there must be other places you could file your b logs from! It's only taken 3 days to arrive.

Just seen it's only 9 days to the new series of The Apprentice! Yippee!

Right, must knuckle down and do the ironing........although.....maybe after lunch ;-)

    Hello all,

Sorry for a recent absence. I haven't been well and my lovely GP started some tablets a couple of weeks ago that made me very sleepy. Thank goodness I've come round a bit and feel much better.

    I feel like I've missed a bit......................

Deevs - how was your holiday? I'm not on FB or twitter for lent so have not seen an pics.

Bids - hope you grandson is ok.

Afternoon to Ali, CSN & Debs.

    Catch you all later x

And hello to GR53, sezzagirl & maddymoon and everyone else blogging as I type!

Afternoon all and afternoon Mr Evans you were on fine form this morning got up a bit earlier today so got to hear a lot more of you then normal. Shall be catching up on TG on Wednesday to see your ole motor. Was too tired last night to press the button on the bodger! (thats our word for remote control).

Bids hope your grandson gets better soon.

Deevs Randall the Vandal eh! hope he behaves himself at the vets. I noticed you said he wasnt eating very much at the moment when our pup milo was small and before he could take on the digestion of canned or dry food someone suggested a little bit of weetabix and warm water just to feel him up a little. Sure your vet may have suggested something for you to keep Randall full at the moment.

Holiday booked five weeks tomorrow so I am currently only eating dust and exercising like a mad woman. 2 hours on the allotment shovelling manure and rotavating the three patches ready the planting season to commence.

Someone seems to have pinched the sun from shropshire today and left some horrible grey clouds instead, umphhh!

Anyway have a good Monday one and all.

    CB xx
