With Rachel on 鈥淒ay release鈥 I got to see what it was like to be the studio producer for a few days. To be honest with you I thoroughly enjoyed it even if I do find myself in the strange situation of being sat at home at 5pm waiting for my flatmates to arrive having already done a 13 hour day! Weird things like sleep become the most important thing in your day and you find yourself talking to everyone about it (fyi I got 3hours 50 last night and technically speaking if I want a full 8 hours tonight I should be in bed at ten to 8 this evening 鈥 yeah right!).

If you haven't heard today's show, well I'd recommend you take a pop on over to Listen Again and do just that, because I must be honest I feel it went quite well. Today Chris had loads of X-Factor clips from the weekend, I had clips from the Big Brother press conference and Mary-Anne Hobbs randomly walked in the studio at 9:20 to inform you the listener that she a show of Leeds music this evening. Random, but brilliant. (Speaking of Big Brother, I was going to make this blog about that but I'm not sure how many of you were fans so instead .

The rest of the week may not have the pace or randomness that today's had, but then 鈥 you never know. Tomorrow I try my hand at being the Hostess with the leastess and chair Rob DJ's Monday Night Pub Quiz and then on Thursday James Nesbitt is popping in. And don't forget you can still register to go away with Jo Whiley to Reading Festival staying with her on a tour bus!

Right, that's it from me. I'm off to the gym, need to get my energy for my 3:50am start tomorrow morning!

Ooops there I go again. Micro-sleeping can be slightly inconvenient at times, particularly when constant attention is required.
