Hope all's well with you and you're not suffering too much from the cold? Don't forget that it's important to check on your neighbours at this time of year to make sure they're ok and haven't slipped on the ice or anything. Here at the Chris Moyles show we care about our listeners and the community as a whole, so our message during this cold snap is stay warm, stay and stay alive.

At the time of writing I can confirm the exciting news that Dominic and I are going to be appearing on a forthcoming edition of Ready Steady Cook! This is tremendous news for both of us who are big fans of Ainsley Harriott and food in general, and are eagerly relishing the chance to pit our red tomatoes and green peppers against one another as we embark in kitchen combat like two gourmet gladiators. More news on that as it breaks.

The other day I saw Coronation Street's Audrey Roberts in Homebase! She was returning something (I couldn't really see what it was because there was a man standing in the way) and she was ahead of me in the queue, even though I'd been standing there longer (although I didn't mind because while I may have lost my place, I gained a guess who.) She wasn't quite as tall as I had expected in real life, but facially looked just the same. In case you were wondering, I was returning some light bulbs which I'd bought which were the wrong type. I got a full refund which was good.

In other news, there's been an incredulous amount of interest in our new Cockitt and Pullitt cop drama. Rumours suggest it could repeat the success of Little Britain which also first started on the wireless, before successfully switching to TV but we shall just wait and see. In the meantime I'd better carry on the story and write episode 2 before we get a queue of telly types ramming down our doors.

Until then, take extra time on your journey. Remember, it's better to arrive five minutes late than to die horribly in a horrendous wintery weather based accident.

Kind Thoughts
Dave

Hi
so you are on ready steady cook then, when? Just another step towards world domination for the Chris Moyles team. Also on my part there is no confusion who is cockitt and who is pullitt, but what was that awful track you played in your tedious link this morning, the link was less tedious than the track.

P.S all the best and keep up the fun and witty comedy that has made the team legends

Appearing on Ready steady cook is the cementing of your legend status....I can remember having a ready steady cook boardgame...perhaps you should practise your cooking techniques on air....

Another episode of Cockitt and Pullitt? Hell yeah!!! But will it be to the sound of Robin Hood??? And will I ever find out which one of you is cockitt and which one pullitt??

But one thing, it was lovely how you thought of your listeners in the snow but I just don't get it...Snow hits North and Scotland...a few shrugged shoulders...Snow hits south east its national news!! I just don't get it!!

On Ready Steady Cook, one of you should turn around wen it's time for the tasting and go 'yeah, it's alrite I suppose, though I wouldn't have used the tomatoes/pasta/chocolate in that way', or just pull a disgusted face. I remember John Parrott or someone like that years ago tasting and going 'eww that's awful'! The poor chef looked devestated! T'would funny just to see the look on their faces!
