Standing outside Radio 1 waiting to get on the tour bus on Friday morning I couldn't believe I'd been given the lucky job of being part of the Red Nose Rallyoke tour. Daily doses of karaoke action along with a chance to witness the antics of the Breakfast team, all whilst raising tonnes of money for Comic Relief - perfect!...

Apart from watching the breakfast team do karaoke, one of the highlights so far has definitely been the monkeys - in my time at Comic Relief I've seen a lot of people wearing a red nose but never a monkey! Remember, you've only got a few days left to buy your nose - Last year over 6.5 million were sold but I know we can do better than that this year - that's not even one for every Radio 1 listener?!

Hope you're enjoying all the online pics and videos from the Rallyoke. Every morning from the moment we get on the bus the online peeps get busy straight away getting things on the website. Meanwhile I try and get some kip ready for the next big night.

Have to admit this is my first blog so not sure what else to say, But, most importantly I want to say a massive thank you from everyone at to all the people who have helped Radio 1 get to their Rallyoke total so far - Thanks to all of you there is over £300k in the pot already, which will do SO SO much for people in both Africa and the UK who Comic Relief help.

Just a few weeks ago I went to Kenya to see Comic Relief's work there and it really brought home what a few pounds can do for people that have so little. Money that you have raised for Comic Relief has helped to build an amazing school in the heart of the Kibera slum where the children can get a basic education, and also find a haven where they can play with their friends and get a proper meal every day

Keep your texts coming in, the prizes for the truck are totally amazing, and just remember that every single text you send is helping Comic Relief to make a real difference to people's lives.

Thanks!

Katie x

You and Wogan both played Razorlight at exactly the same time this morning. The difference between you diminihes daily. You're so R2 and you don't even know it, big guy.

The Proclaimers' keyboard player couldn't remember being in Australia. They were there for three months! Their guitarist, a Mr. Showbiz Niz, invented a cocktail known as the Velvet Elvis, equal parts Champagne and Buckfast fortified wine. It's great for chav weddings.

The Rallyoke has been the best week of Moyles since you went to New York last year.
I've been working a totally different shift pattern recently & have loved waking up to that fantastic new jingle you've got that opens the show.

Comic Relief was amazing, you raised so much cash. Good on you!

My girlfriend think Moyles' hoarse voice is really sexy, I might have to sing myself silly for a week in that case.

Hi Katie

Well done for helping raise so much money for Comic Relief. As someone who is closely involved with rural communities in East Africa, I am always reminded of how even a small amount of money can go a very, very long way.

regards
