I had a near death experience on the show this morning. During our recording of the weekly podcast, Chris thought it would be a funny idea to read out my mobile phone number. As far as I knew, this didn't make the final edit. However...

...on this morning's show the rest of the team wound me up good and proper when tonnes of texts and phone calls started arriving on my mobile.

As far as I knew my mobile phone number had been broadcast on the podcast and I was getting phone calls and texts from doolally members of the public. As it turns out this was all a bit of a ruse, but one thing which did come out of all this is that Rachel is the world's best liar which is very bad news for Mr Rachel and their forthcoming marriage plans.

Imagine if the weatherman didn't do the weather because he was outside having a smoke and the producer had to fill in for a bit. What a palaver there'd be about these people only having to work a few hours a day and still not being able to do that properly.

Dave, I also pay my licence by direct debit and they still send me threatening letters. These people are useless. And we pay their wages!
