There's another Captain Underpants…
Hello to everyone out there!! Its great to be back! I say that but then admit I am lying when it comes to getting up at 4 am every day!! Today was worse than yesterday so by Friday I reckon we'll all be talking jibberish! (Such a great word!)
To soften the blow of the second early start I had a fantastic present from Chris all the way from New York!! I was concerned that it would be something very rude that he had found - half expecting something dodgy to do with a cannon or something! But it was much better than that! A Captain Underpants Toy!!
Complete with y-fronts and a cape! See the picture below! Turns out he's quite a character with books and everything from Purple Poopy People and the Booger Boy! Thinking of getting my captain underpants the whole set for Christmas! He does sort of look like my one too - with his little nose and smile! I will be in trouble for saying that!
Anyway a few details on the holiday break then - while Dave was becoming a daddy and Aled was sunny himself with the boys in Greece - I had two lovely weeks in a wee village called Birstwith in North Yorkshire with the Captain - its really very nice up there and I can highly recommend a visit! Although it was meant to be two weeks of rest and recuperation I ended up spending most of my time in the pub the Old Station Inn! They do a mean fish and chips if you are ever in the area - other places to eat and drink are available of course!!
One day Russ from Hollyoaks came in - turns out he's dating a girl in the village - he is quite cute in real life!! Went Clay Pigeon shooting for the first time (thanks Gotty) was soo cool! First time I hit two, second time rubbish!! And I ended up with a bruised shoulder and jaw from the recoil!!
I had my first taste of army life as an army wife going to regimental ball! Ended up drinking champagne from a vase!! Don't ask!!
Must dash though as the football season is almost upon us and there are footballers in need of the Chris Moyles Show Treatment!

My seven year old son Brandon is a huge fan of captin underpants.
He's always reading the books and he even makes his own captin underpants comics. He thinks its great your all talking about it on the show.
Where did you get the captin underpants figure from as he would love one we've been looking every where for one.

i read all the captain underpants books when i was younger. there is a new one just released. i'm thinking about reading it even though i'm 16!

Crickey, two blogs in one day, wont last me thinks however greatfull none the less, Glad to hear stories of another good holiday, rather odd to think of Mr Carrie as a bloke in nothing but a cape and y fronts lol
