Horses, Ponies, Hands and Our Fastest Lap???
Good morning bloggles..I am having to do a quick one today as I am dashing off for some footballer action shortly!
Well have we or have we not had our fastest lap ever..that is the question - the lovely Adrian Chilles from the One Show, Match of the Day, etc was like a whippet around our studios...through that live lounge faster than lightening - he's over taken the uber competitive Peter Jones and Davina McCall. But in an Alan Partridge Aha way - we've since discovered the builders had left one of the doors open...A stewards enquiry is now underway..but in case you missed it here's Adrian's lap for you to enjoy...
On other subjects what a bizarre start to the day with a debate over whether a pony is a horse or can horse be a pony. Trying to get the boys to understand anything equine is a feat in itself! Anyway hoping now they get it with anything above 14'2 (thats 14 hands - a hand being 4 inches - they'll be aware of those dimensions) is a horse anything below is a pony - all horses and ponies have foals as offspring - fillies being young females, colts being young males, fillies develop into Mares, colts can be Geldings (if they've lost their bits) and Stallions (if they've got their bits). On another front all that talk of my little ponys and care bears took me back to those hazy days of childhood - so tell us what my little ponys you had or carebears - Aled had the blue one - I had Tenderheart and a yellow one?! And Applejack was my favourite my little pony..If you have any other classic childrens toys let us know too!!
Am off for a long weekend so have a good one everyone!!

Why would the horses bits fall off? Is this a common problem?
