WEDNESDAY IS "DOMBLOGDAY"

Post categories:

Dom | 12:52 UK time, Wednesday, 23 July 2008

Hello - as you may have heard on the show this morning - we all drew straws to see who'll write the blog on which particular day of the week. It wasn't actually a straw - it was a piece of paper in a hat. We didn't have straws. All in all this is a much better system and It was decided that I will blog on Wednesdays.

I like Wednesdays for the following reasons: It falls in the middle of the week, I know the french word for it (mercredi) and I can't think of another reason but you get the drift.

I will look forward to my Wednesday task very much and hope to receive lots of comments from you about things that been mentioned in my blog. This week is a bad example as I've just banged on about the word Wednesday a fair bit.

While I'm here - you must go and watch the worlds most boring youtube video by the way. It involves lawn mowing. I know...you're very welcome. Just click and it'll magic you there.

Thankyou for your cooperation in this matter,

Yours,

Dom

dom, man, you were really clutching at straws today! how long did it take?!

still, it was better than watching grass grow... and then being mowed.... by you...

wednesdays for me are the days when you can begin to look forward to the weekends, although there is 2 days left!

did prefer watching you mow the lawn than reading blog, try and be more inspiring next time!

Anyone remember the movie The Lawnmower Man? (starring Pierce Brosnan if memory serves). I wonder if the Director saw you on Youtube. A sequel could be in the pipeline.

Bum, bum, bum, bum, bum, bum, bum, bum.

Dom. Love the video ! Me and the family live on Barry Island and our mower broke last week, so we are forced into borrowing the neigbours. Any chance you can hitch a ride with Scott on Friday and do the lawn for me ? Back and front if its not to much bova. I love your technique ! Adrian, Emma and Sorrel of Barry Island. Dom, Love the video but as you have such extensive gardening knowledge, you might be able to help me..

I have grown sun flowers for the 5th yer running, but this year I have an alien sunflower.... it is one with 4 flower heads... yes not just the normal one but there are 4 flowers...

    is this normal?

Dom, I listen to the show every day from Los Angeles California, aka the "land of many lawns". If you ever become jaded with attending all of the late night movie premiers, dating a different supermodel every night, and all of the other celebrity trappings you enjoy as a member of the Chris Moyles team, you can move to LA, and get back to basics. My couch folds into a sofa-bed and you can stay as long as you like...DaveLA

I love listening to you guys.. I'm an Aussie living in the US, so hearing you talk about things I'm familiar with is awesome!!! Today I heard the name Angry Anderson for the first time in probably 15 years is!!!!

I'll be reading the blogs every day! Thank you for keeping me entertained on my sometimes 2-3 hour commute in the mornings!

    Cheers,
Gianina, Sydney by way of New Hampshire!

I'm sure you'll be pleased to learn that I've just watched the whole of the boring video. Thanks, Dom, for the viewing pleasure you provided.

I like the word mecredi but I think vendredi is better, and that means Friday, which is a better day altogther.

Your Wednesday blog is going to cheer up Wednesdays though!
