Dear Blog Readers

Tonight I'm thinking of making my special chilli con carne from the following recipe:

Mince beef
1 large onion
Chilli mix
Kidney beans
1 Oxo Cube
Worcester Sauce
Sweet Chilli
Maggi Sauce
Black Pepper
Rice

Why don't you join me and cookalonglive?

Then again I might get a curry as there's a new place opened in the village and I like to support local business

Find out next time only on Dave's Thursday Blog

Bye

Dave

You got ill last time you ate that, depriving the world of comedy.

I'm ill as it happens, just thrown my second sickie, I too like to support my community, I buy rip-off prices of booze all the time from my local shop. Regularly I am in my Chinese takeaway paying a fiver a time for the privelage of eating, I believe I shall get them through the credit munch.

    dave....dave .....dave

ive just looked at your recipie for your "special chilli con carnie"

id like to give you a few pointers if i may(im a chef....who worked at the ivy for 2 years dont you know....)

    Anyways id suggest

*a couple of cloves of finely chopped garlic with your onion would give your chilli a more richer and fuller flavour.

*forget the maggie mix and replace it with chopped tomato,s(tinned are fine)also maybe a little tomato puree when your sweating of the onions and garlic.

*also.....this may sound a bit odd but a if you add a couple of cubes of dark chocolate into the chilli just before you serve it i promise you you,ll never look back.....

feal free to leave me any questions you have.......hmmmmm

anyways cheers to all you guys for making my day everyday!!!!!!!!!!

    take care now...martin from london
