Sausages and Snowboarding

Post categories:

Hello - well its back to a Monday again so its my turn to blog. What a miserable Monday it is too. Chucking it down with rain here so really not much option but to go to bed and hope it all goes away.
I've just changed my bed sheets so can't wait for my afternoon nap- nothing beats getting into crisp bed linen!
Had a very exciting weekend - there was loads of snow up north - even enough to get the snowboard out - was wicked - not really steep enough for jumps and stuff and had to be a bit careful as it was quite busy up there! Its my new photo on my twitter page. Something I have become completely obsessed with! All good fun for now will try and reign it in a bit so I don't go competely mental!

On a food front I made my own sausages for the first time. Was hilarious fun - and also quite grim - properly stinking when mincing it all up - filling up the sausage skins definitely my favourite bit - did look utterly wrong on every level mindu.

We made 3 flavours pork and leek, pork and stilton and pork and mustard - the latter being the best. Also we may have put too much rusk in - could be a work in progress to get perfection I reckon but not giving up yet!
Now going to decide what to have for lunch - jacket potato or soup? Hmmm

Don't forget to keep donating to Chris and Rachel's kilimanjaro climb - we've done amazing well so far - just follow the links on www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/chrismoyles.

Lots of love
