Sorry but some may not like my comments but hey we all can't like everything.
I listen to radio 2 in the car but the workplace they have radio 1 on, yes they are all younger than me.
I heard the breakfast show today and thought I was listening to talk radio. What is all this non constructive chat without playing any music.
Some interview this morning must have gone on for about 15 mins, got how boring. To think this is a breakfast show.
It's all been done before, private studio chat and in jokes without playing music.
Then to to top it all there is another 5 min handover with fern.
I think Chris should stick to karting, give the breakfast show to scott mills who knows a thing or two about content and production.

If you think that is bad come to America where all the radio shows are run by idiots. This is the only radio station I will listen to due to its broad variety. You can always listen to Scott Mills on iPlayer instead of Chris Moyles. Or simply tune it out like I have learned woking at retail for so many years.

Boyd, yeah get your point. This country once had an excellent source of commerical radio talent, but overnight it all changed. Some big wigs brought an idea from America that all stations should be formatted for the advertisers and that they should all sound the same.
Radio 1 used to be great back in the day. They wanted though to appeal to a younger audience so younger presenters were brought in. But it's never worked. I don't have a problem with what radio 1 are trying to do and who they are trying to appeal too. My problem is with some of the talentless presenters who are on big money and think they are the saviour.
Radio 1 is pipped throught the whole company so it's not easy to ignore it or turn out of it.

I am a huge fan of the Chris Moyles show but I think N-Dubz should not have been on the show. They obviously don't listen since they had to ask who aled was and various other comments. They sounded very stupid and insulting to us regular listeners. I switched off after a while as I found them annoying and vile!

Now to hear on the news about one of the group sending abusive texts to a listener who had voiced her opinion - something regularly encouraged on the show, I think it is disgusting! I think they should be charged. They shouldn't have access to contact details! Surely this is covered under data protection.

In my opinion his whole go-carting article should be removed and the group shouldn't get any more positive publicity from the ´óÏó´«Ã½. They should be punished. I'm quite sure that many listeners would agree. They have tained the reputation of the Chris Moyles show!!

I am in 100% agreement of the above comment. After the ´óÏó´«Ã½s stance on the Sachsgate thing last year a similar reaction is now warranted. Radio 1 has broadcast an active statement about how bad bullying is etc etc. Now it is time to see whether they practice what they preach. A license paying listener used her right to express her opinion about a band and was greeted with abusive and threatening text messages. I for one will never listen to Radio 1 again should I hear about this band again on their station.
