It was a difficult choice between Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility. I love both. Dumb and Dumber isn't even a Jane Austen pic and it is just plain daft! What little I saw of it just made me knackered! I hated it.

The hysteria surrounding this film just reminds me of Notting Hill all over again. The film is ok but nothing brilliant. I am sick of reading about it and hearing the self indulgent lovvies fawning all over Colin Firth. He is the Hugh Grant of 2011...without the hookers (so far).

How ironic that this film gets so much exposure when George VI was such a shy man.

It took me about 20 seconds to realise there was a > button. Either make it easier to find or make it automatic. Quite a funny test, but poor design.

Lady Catherine probably wouldn't like boasting in a Lady so I will modestly announce my score of 93% and go off and watch the whole acclaimed TV series adaptation of Pride & Prejudice yet again!

What a complete waste of time this meaningless quiz is - surely our licence fee is better spent on something more useful. Give the graduate trainee web site designers something productive to do - like making coffee

Madam, you obviously don't know your Jane Austin from your Emile Bronte. Dumb And Dumber is one of Austin's finest works, though eclipsed in my view by her sequel to it, Dumb And Dumberer.

Dum and Dummer was/is a compltely assinine film . After 15 minutes of this irritating absurd childish rubbish I could not stand more of it and just had to walk out of the cinema before it drove me up the wall .

I think the clue is in the presentation - the way the questions are phrased, the illustrations, the graphics, everything. It's not a serious quiz; it's a bit of a laugh. Yes, it's true! Some contributors who've gone all sour and self-righteous about it might not have noticed, but that's the reality.
I scored 100%, not because I'm Colin Firth, or King George VI, or clever, or any good at history and films and actors, but because I figured what the person who wrote the thing wanted as answers.

The Oscars and Colin Firth are very fine but there would be a more patriotic relevance in an 'How Chris Ashton are you' questionnaire, notwithstanding that the young man had a modest game today, by his and our expected standards.

I'm not going to post my result until Colin Firth takes this test and gets 100%. Until then, we just don't know if it's really an accurate test.
