I'd like to know, why oh why, have you not been on our screens in England before now??? This is the best comedy I have seen in a very long time and its loved in our family by three generations! Nowadays that is a very rare thing indeed!

About time we had Mrs Brown on TV, so CONGRATULATIONS and good on the ´óÏó´«Ã½. My Wife and i first saw Ms Brown a few years ago at the Newcastle Journal Tyne Theatre.(when are you coming back?) It was a scream.......we wet ourselves from begining to the end.....so much so i didn't even have to go during the interval.

Please tell me this is NOT just a one off series. Have all crossed (hard to walk or see like this) that ´óÏó´«Ã½ have booked you forever LOVE the show LOVE the humour and am even putting bets on that this show is a WINNER Many years we have waited for a REALLY funny show. Now at last someone at the ´óÏó´«Ã½ gave us something we all can enjoy and TALK about. Long long overdo. WELL DONE xxx

Thank God someone has hit the screens who understands comdey and what it means to laugh. The last really funny T.V comedy was Still Game, which has been absent a fair old a while. The sitcoms that crawl on to the T.V at the moment are ........., add the comment of your choice because i rather fear theat that dear old auntie would not be amused with mine. You guys transcend comedy and you've had me roaring with laughter (which has led to my flat getting some very stranger looks)every programme that I've watched. I've only a couple of grumbles, the first is that the programmes are far to short, and secondly that the series will probably be way to short. I hope that you will take the record for the worlds longest running sitcom. Have fun, I will every time I watch. it's amazing, all I have to do is think of you guys and I can't stop smiling.

So funny, great one liners and love the laugh. But Mrs Brown, think you should open your eyes to Rory, no patter of tiny feet coming from there!!!

Mrs brown I can not believe Ive never heard of you until now! thanks to the Beeb screening your hilarious show!, I hope you've been given the go ahead for a new series later in the year ( or next year i can wait ). Will you be visting manchester again anytime soon?, as I will deffo' be getting tickets!.

Congrats brendan and your team on a brill programme, remember the programme years ago on radio in Ireland and going to see you over there. Look forward to the programme every Monday and like the irish phrases and attention to detail on set that reminds me of home. Think you need to get on some of the breakfast\day time shows to plug the programme as anyone I ask has not heard of it so it needs to be plugged more so that the beeb will do another series. keep up the good work and roll on series 2

tinaneryan, hope ur on facebook pluggin the show. I dont go on it cos its full of preverts!! but if u r start a group and get the beeb to commision more! Britain needs a laff n everyone I've plugged the show to has said they haven't laffed as much for years! Its a good dose of humour this country needs! I read some of the blogs last week n one particular guy said cartoon credits and obviously in a studio cos could see cameras etc!!? Thats the whole charm of the show! We are supposed to know its acted out in a live studio audience! The very fact that Brendans fellow actors cant hold it together when he performs says it all! By the way, I am a bit disappointed that my raffle ticket didn't win! lol

Lilyann - lesson number one, NEVER buy a raffle ticket from Buster Brady, in fact never buy anything from him.

To 5961 - YES. Buster is his son, who is married to Betty. Maria is his daughter who is married to Mick the cop. Winnie is his sister. And the beautiful Cathy is his daughter! (Imagine how weird that gets at home!)

To all of the rest of you a huge THANK YOU! - I believe it took a lot of courage for the ´óÏó´«Ã½ to risk this show on ´óÏó´«Ã½ One. All they asked of us is that it was to be funny - I think we have kept our side of the bargain and with the support we have had from everybody at the ´óÏó´«Ã½, I can tell you that they have kept theirs. Great courage indeed to make and show this. Ep 1 was so fantastic I haven't really LOL'd for years at TV 'comedy' so I couldn't believe I was ROTFL all the way through ep 1.

Ep 2 seemed less funnny (?) but Ep 3 got me going again. I still have eps 4 and 5 to get through - saving them for this weekend !!

I have recommended this show to all my friends and colleagues here in the Netherlands - it's a large international office so you should expect to be selling this series in Europe and far beyond... very soon :)

Is it only the Irish who can be so outrageously funny ?? You know the other Irish comedy I mean .... that one and this one = better than all rest of last 30 years worth of English comedy combined (30 yrs since Fawlty Towers) !! I am English but we are not funny, per se !!

Good day, Mrs. Brown. I am a canadian, but I have seen the show and love it! Just one problem...being Canadian, i understand damn near everything, but certain words have thrown me for a loop. For example, in episode 2: Mammy's Secret, you are speaking with Winnie in the kitchen and a comment is made about Mark and Betty. A name is said, "look at them now, a lovely home in ....." This is the word i fail to make out everytime it is used and frankly, it's driving me nuts! I'm of Irish descent but am painfully ignorant of my own parents' motherland...Could you please let me know what that one word is?

This really is one of the funniest things i have ever seen.I will be watching the xmas special and im off to watch it live in sheffield next march.Me and my partner would love to be in the audience when filming for tv.If this is possible i would do anything for that privallage.
