I think in some ways it will be a shame that this blog is going to be closed down. In another way it makes me glad, it goes to show that there is not a problem of racial hatred in Kernow. Those on the extreme right that purport to represent Cornwall have no visible presence here, the BNP seems in no great danger of getting elected at any level of government here. Thankfully we have never experienced the riots/ protests agitated by the EDL/BNP/football hooligans in England. Happily these nutjobs that promote views of superior cultures and racial based ideology are largely confined to the internet and politics in Cornwall largely follows a more civilised path discussing real issues of governance such as the economy and the need for devolution.

Or we could be honest and say the site was created by bigoted people in an act of denial now they have an English born councillor they feel they have this base covered and will concentrate the efforts on defending the borders for outsiders (devonwall) and offering cheap housing to the Cornish born who made a packet selling the homes to second home owners, in the first place.

You can often spot a xenophobic commenters by the use of BNP and EDL within the comments they make. Oh gosh guess that makes me one I hear the usual children say. It’s that feeble here.

With 99% of the population being white this should not surprise anyone, its got so bad the racists have to construct exclusive races to fulfil the racism they have within them, I have no time for anyone playing judge on others based on location of birth, language or skin colour, dress in whatever you want it is racism, like the buffoon who thinks his country is Britain. They spend so much time inventing this Cornish minority that they often cross into bigotry and racism themselves, the only saving grace being in the eyes of the law they are English, even if they do not like to be called it. They are in fact attacking themselves

As I said legally they are what they proclaim to hate. Britian is not or ever been a Country and as these nats like to boast that Wales and Scotalnd are leaggly nations and the law has ruled Cornwall is not a country, legally they are English that an absolute fact. I asked if you could provide a reference to the law that states we are English, no games, a simple reference.
As for the difference between a Nation, Country and state, I suggest that you do some research, they are all different concepts. The Cornish, like the Welsh, Scottish, Irish, and English, are a Nation. That is an absolute fact.
