Getting on the 43 Bus blog

If you’re looking for a good example of the kind of blogger we’re after, you won’t go far wrong taking a look at Geoff’s website ‘’.

The 43 is a bus that runs between Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport. Geoff makes observations about the things he sees as well as contemplating life as a Manchester commuter. His little drawings are an added delight.

The great thing about this blog is that no matter what Geoff writes about, he’s never that far from the orange glow of the number .

I saw "43" and it was great. I also was able to listen to ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Manchester on the Internet. It was great. Best Wishes from Miami Florida. Roberto

Buses are always a great place for people-watching and for observing things going on outside. When I was a student in Manchester, the bus route between the city centre, university buildings and student outpost of Fallowfield was very well travelled. I remember one bus ride where the bus door fell off as we were driving along. People used to say that the stretch along Oxford Road was the busiest bus route in Europe. An urban myth, or a true (if slightly dull) fact?
