Second class citizens
I'm travelling up to Birmingham on the same train as most of the Cabinet, it seems.
Manifesto launches, like Cabinet meetings, seem to have become a new branch of regional policy, with huge benefits to Virgin Rail.
It's great to see figures such as Alistair Darling, Ed Miliband, Tessa Jowell and their advisers all travelling second class.
Just like me, I should stress.

Don't you mean 'Standard' Class Verity? As in: flagging 'Union Flag' that was once the proud 'Union Jack'? (Now more appropriately, the 'In Your Dreams Sonny - Jill', as 'British Jack' has been emasculated.)
The more this lot get the wind up, the more they droop in the face of battle. I admit Yvette makes a doughty flagpole, but hubby is more like the Chamber Pot bunged on top in rag week.
Oh - it's all going terribly well.

Good job there were no in-train interviews with Yvette Cooper, all things considered.
ps: It might be worth checking back in a while to see how long such things last, such great precedents only being set, well, about now.
