Time to redecorate
Is "redecorate" the right term for redesigning a blog? I bet someone's already coined a blogospheric term for this (and I fully expect to be told what it is). In any case, you'll be noticing one or two changes in the layout of the blog, which I hope will prove useful. My most recent entries will be highlighted, and your most recent comments too. I'll also be putting up my own blogroll, alongside some key ´óÏó´«Ã½ blogs. I might even get very trendy and add some videos here and there. (Okay, when I say "I", I mean David, the ´óÏó´«Ã½ web-wiz who fixes these things for me -- thanks David.) I'd like to hear your ideas for improving the blog's look. Don't be shy.
Comments
Following up on my earlier comment.
Notice how on the main page the right hand one third of the page is taken up by ads or something else.
This is ok but now click on one of the blogs, say "Our Common Humanity".
Notice how it is the same on the right hand side. I would prefer that in a page like this the text of the comment would take up the whole 100% of the screen width. That is, keep the page with the comments devoted solely to the commentator's text.
This should make things easier to read without so much scrolling.

It may be nice if, on posts like 'Creationism 101', comments could be separated into pages for easy access and reducing load times, like this:
...with perhaps 20 comments to a page? It may solve some of the problems.
Hmm.... here's what I meant:
PREV 1 2 3 4 5 NEXT
William,
It may be just me - but i have difficulty copying from comments already posted - which slows me down when gunning for creationists. Grrrrrrrrrrr!!
Can anything be done - can the blog evolve?
