Iris Robinson gives her apologies ...
No, Mrs Robinson is not apologising for her recent comments about homosexuality. She has sent her apologies to the Assembly's Health committee, the first time since the controversy over Mrs Robinson's comments. The MP and MLA is also , but in her absence today the deputy chair, of Sinn Fein, chaired the proceedings. We understand that Mrs Robinson was unable to chair the Assembly Health Committee because she was attending a meeting at this afternoon.
By the way, so far more than six thousand people n calling on the Prime Minister to reprimand Mr Robinson for her comments about homosexuality.

Perhaps if Iris's very lovely psychiatrist can't help, her very lovely teleporting yogi who works with her in her constituency office might be able to give her a few tips on being in several places at once.
Remind me why we pay these people...?

This is one of them. This is not to single out one ´óÏó´«Ã½ correspondent or reporter, it just provoked a thought about it just having seen another on today's ´óÏó´«Ã½ World Service main news page.
"The heavenly body that may hold clues to the Solar system's birth."
When you click on this title, you find it is not some newly discovered astronomical object which will be put under observation or even suggest an attempt to capture all or part of it but;
"A rare type of meteorite that could hold clues to the birth of our Solar System has been bought by London's Natural History Museum."
"It landed in Tanzania in 1938 as one 705g stone, since split into samples.
Pieces from the UK sample, the largest in any public collection in the world, will be removed for study."
The fact that a title cannot be allowed to stand on its own is proof the organization is not confident of attracting enough audience on the merits of the story itself. This seemingly unimportant small subterfuge is just one more evidence that the organization feels that cheap tricks like this "hook" have to be resorted to to grab attention. Too bad even here it is manifest. It is now part of ´óÏó´«Ã½'s stock and trade.

It seems to me that the dup when in power lost the whole plot on why they were there which was to serve the people they elected yet it seems according to the sunday life she used her power to lobby for property devolopers that looked after her interests. Iris is very quick to quote scripture regarding homosexuality yet The Lord said foxes have holes the birds of the air have nests yet the Son of Man have no were to lay his head. So which property will Iris lay her head on?
