Can we look forward to him appearing on ´óÏó´«Ã½ tv's Question Time? No, thought not. The ´óÏó´«Ã½ would rather invite the same old faces. How many times is Peter Hain going to appear. Is he going for the record?
The Biased Broadcasting Corporation keep on inviting the same old faces. Is it surprising that our politics are so stale?
When asked to invite the English Democrats Chairman on to QT/´óÏó´«Ã½ Politics Show etc.the reply was always no because they have no electoral support. Well ´óÏó´«Ã½ the EDP have made a major breakthrough so what's your excuse now?
I am not a member of the EDP although I voted for them in the Euro elections.

Also alot of Pastor McConnells fans are saying they know things for a fact ....... Is this a fact that Pastor McConnell has said himself ....... because if he admitted openly he brought Pastor George over with false pretenses .... how do we know whats a fact and whats not!!!!!

I can't see how a guy who voluntarily slashed his own wages and is working to cut down the avenues in which his predecessors have set up to con the taxpayers out of their money could possibly be bad.
He is only a mayor he can only take policies so far and where he can't he's passing the message on to the people.
On the topic of the gay pride festival, why should the public pay for their festival? Isn't that the same as demanding that counsel should pay for an extension to the local football ground?
If gay pride is brining in money shouldn't those who are profiting be putting the money up?
The best part of the whole thing is that this guy has been brought to my attention and I now know that anyone affiliated with this guy is worth my vote.

The law (easily checkable) says that this type of council must have a number of councilors per ward "divisible by three". Therefore, by law, any reduction of councilors achieved by "appealing to their better natures" would only trigger by-elections to fill the vacancies - at great cost to the town.
The point of the interview was surely that the man had promised the electorate many things which a superficial knowledge of the mayor's legal powers would have told him he couldn't do. You have to ask yourself, as a politician of many years experience, did he not know, of was he less than honest with the voters?
In either case, I suspect his public will soon be very angry with him.

People voted for him because they thought he COULD lower the council tax, and not by the one percent recently announced.
It was notable that Mr Davies was moaning about the new bus corridor, because it affected him directly as a resident on the route. Has he ever caught the bus? Does he have any sympathy for those who rely on the service.
Too right people are angry that he's not doing what he set out to do, with the exception of cutting his own salary to a mere £30,000 a year. For what?
He denies being anti-gay, suggesting that his opposition to groups like the Doncaster Partnership Against Homophobia/Transphobia is to save the council money. What about the victims of those terrible crimes, people who are driven out of their own homes because of a minority who choose to abuse anyone they don't particularly like, because they are lesbian or transvestites - the DPAH/T have fought for years to improve things for those on the receiving end of hate crime, and along comes someone with no idea at all...
