大象传媒

Each Friday, we put together a podcast of the best of the 大象传媒's Olympics coverage in the run-up to the Games.

This time around the star feature is an interview from Up All Night, where Musty Aziz pays a visit to Scottish judoka Euan Burton.

Euan's one of seven Brits in the sport to have , and he talks through the rest of the team to give you an idea of what you can expect from them. He also confronts Great Britain's horrendous performance in the recent European Championships - something he wrote about for the 大象传媒 Sport website.

"We didn't have a fantastic European Championships," he says, "but that doesn't mean the team that went there is any worse than the team who got two medals at the Worlds last year.

"We have a fantastically strong team, people have said it's possibly the strongest Olympic team Great Britain have ever sent for judo."

Things are now reaching the stage where each week brings new nominations to the British squad, and joining Euan in the podcast are Paralympic swimming duo Eleanor Simmonds and Dave Roberts. There's been a lot of media coverage of young diver , who will be 14 by the time the Olympics get going, but in Beijing. At the other end of the scale in terms of experience, Dave has a magnificent seven Paralympic gold medals to his name.

And Olympic historian Philip Barker takes Rachel Burden back to the 1908 Olympics in London - with the revelation that we Brits managed to get our stadium built for free. (We had a go at recreating the 1908 Games just recently - . Play "spot the 大象传媒 Olympics blogger" if you're bored, there's four to collect...)

If you see or hear a great Olympic interview on the 大象传媒 and think we ought to include it in the next podcast, drop me a line using the comments below this post.

PS: As promised, British canoeist Anna Hemmings has written for us ahead of this weekend's GB selection.

Ollie Williams is a 大象传媒 Sport journalist. Our should answer any questions you have.
