Somehow, Eddie, I feel this is all too predictable.
BTW, did you have a good night last night? Something seems to have changed for you. Or is the rain getting to you?
They’re wrong - it’s blustery winds here. But not ‘bubbling up’ as your usual contributor would have it.
You're playful today, Eddie!

Bugger. The Tories have won again - never mind, Labour are bound to win the next one...
When am I going to do any work today?
Have a day away (work), and I come back to a running commentry on the 1983 election. Slow news day? Will PM include the final results, or will it still be waiting for the results from Highlands (isn't there a young SDP chap standing there)?
I think Eddie's realised it's a Friday, and there's only so much to do before he's finished for the week...
I'm back! Sorry about the no-show yesterday. Bad day at work:(

p.s. My mony's on a surprise win for the Liberal SDP Alliance!
Will Robin Day be on The World at One?
I've just realised it's Friday too. Doesn't that mean it's drinks time in the pm office? Is THAT the reason for Eddie's sudden return to frivolity? What a change from the last couple of "I've got nothing to write & it's all so pointless" days. Hurrah!
Must go & sparkle at someone's wedding for a few hours. Or at least try not to fall asleep. And it's pouring here too.
Happy blogging- look forward to seeing the grand total when I get home tonight. (How ever many hundred blogs that may be)
After last week's shock revelation that the PM team get drunk on Fridays, I'm guessing Eddie is suffering from a nasty dose of Earlydoorsitis.
I look forward to catching it myself although it's a bit early for me .....
How did William Gladstone get on?
Or was that 1883?
Hello Fearless, I would've missed you but I was missing most of yesterday too.
Do you think people thought we had "snuck off" together?
So had you? (10)?
Ah ha
Aperitif and FF
Sneaking off to sweet shops together no doubt
Suddenly all becomes clear
I'll let you off if you hand round the humbugs
Hi Appy:)
I don't think we should say anything. They'll only take it the wrong way!
Stephen, the humbugs are in the tub on top of the TV...
Didn't William Gladstone present Fifteen-to-One, or something?
Bah! Stephen, bah!
Okay,
I've found the tub, but all I can find inside are some empty wrappers - whose eaten them all?
Come on own up..... I can wait all day............
It wasn't me, honest! Some Acid Drops there for the time being - will they keep you going until we can replace the humbugs?
Wasn't me either! I'm more one for things like dark chocolate myself (or dried apple chips, yum!!)
Crikey! It's anarchy in here. Quick, put the wagons in a circle and don't fire until you see the whites of their thighs ... sorry eyes!
AGES ago I posted something about loving apple chips too. It was not offensive - I merely asked Fearless if we should get those next time we go shopping?
Why hasn't it shown up? I know Eddie doesn't love me but I said I could live with the dancing postcards - surely Lissa isn't agin me too?
