This beats the racing anyday!
Really funny, thanks, but how do I get to see earlier posts which I missed whilst in bed with a nasty dose of some bug from a transatlantic flight?
(Sorry if I'm dumb but can't see an "earlier entries" link)
p.s. looking forward to the 1987 Election
Can we send you a spotted bowtie?
This is starting to feel like the Grand National .....
I get the distinct impression that Ed's due a holiday very soon.
Downhill from then on, if I remember correctly?
SB1 ?
Burble
Click on a date in the archive thingy on the right
Lord Mair - Before you get too carried away, don't forget your obligations to the PM Newsletter. Oh - and then there's the broadcast of course (but that's the moonlighting bit, isn't it?)
Braytog, you could use the incredibly non-techy method I use - keep clicking on the browser's Back button or Previous.
Don't for a moment imagine that you are dumb - you're not the one hosting an 11 blog day...
I say oops-up side ya head, I say oops-upside-ya-head
I loved Robiin Day. I once did a one minute speech in one of those leadership courses the ´óÏó´«Ã½ puts you on about how Paddington Bear should be appointed to replace Robin Day on Newsnight (when RD stepped down). I bet Paddington would have given every politician and Alastair Campbell a good staring down.
I think Eddie is in limbo today -- 1983....2006....1983....2006.....1983.....2006.....1983.....
His mother Doris was always very good too. Lovely singer, I thought.
Que sera.
okay, so what's the cure for having your brain dribble out of your ears due to trying to keep track of too many blog threads?????
I think we should withold sweets and postcards from EM until he's calmed down...
Coco - Can you explain your comment a bit further? The bit about "I loved Robin Day". Methinks a call to The Sun might be in order.
I didn't know there was a pub called Limbo - it's a new one on me!
Lissa,
How come Eddie does not get stopped by the blogmeister for posting too frequently?
This is all too much for me, must go and drink lunch.
How playful can you get! I clicked on the MAIN button and was sent back to September blogs.
Now Lissa's joining in on Ed's jolly.
Val (6),
we've been going downhill ever since that nice Mr. Chamberlain quit in 1940. He was really very polite to that rotter with the silly moustache, who promptly invaded what was left of mainland Europe. It all got jolly batey after that. Turned out that the man he signed a peace deal with had told a few porkies.
Si.
This makes no sense. Just like usual. TFIF.
Great
Braytog, you are right - it's not well designed for more than 5 blogs a day.
Go to the oldest post for today through the recent entries bit, then use the "previous" link on the green bar belom the Pm banner to got to all those posts that are in limbo.
I'm with you Roberto Carlos Alvarez-Galloso,CPUR
though obviously not physically... though can one ever be..?
Whisht, attempting to engage a Chatbot in conversation? Interesting. I wonder what will happen next.
Ta, all, for suggestions on navigation!
Eddie, when can we have the 87 Election? I want to try to spot John and Edwina together in some of the coverage.
re23
My guess? Some comment about an island some 90 miles off the coast of Florida....
Gah, now I'm getting told I'm frogging too frequently. I bet a certain Eric Dimbleby never gets told that....
* Pointless Postcard Thingy *
* Running commentary on an election that took place over 20 years ago *
May I suggest as your next gambits:
* What you imagined radio presenters looked like, before you saw their photos
(Eddie: 6 foot 3, blond, camp...)
* Creative uses for everyday household objects
(Drawer: place to keep Eddie's typing fingers till he gets over his fixation with bursting the blog)
My rates for dreaming up more of these are very reasonable.
RE. 21: How can they be in limbo if limbo's just been abolished? This is worse than chairs that speak.
