Wowee! Zipedeedoodah! Congratulations to all concerned! Did you make a speech?
Who got the Bronze then ;o)
Congratulations!
Just got in and found the webcast just too late to catch the actual announcement.
Yipee! Many congratulations to you all.
Fab!!!
How did Paddy get on with his Jam Spoon?
So all this blog lark was just to win an award! What terrible use of the public ;-)
Congratulations!
Ummm What??????? Did we win? Did we lose? What does "Silver for PM" mean? It is possible that the "more tomorrow" will resolve itself but I doubt that I will get much sleep tonight. I will be cryo-trapping air samples all day tomorrow and need a good night's sleep beforehand. It is possible that this semi-news could put me at danger tomorrow. If you never hear from me again, you will know why!
H.
Brilliant news! Congrats to all involved: Carolyn, Marc, Lissa, Peter, Rupert, Manveen, and "what'sisname" :-)
For anyone interested it appears that the archive of the webcast will be available tomorrow - just look for Sony Radio Awards.
Sony web site says
The results will be uploaded live here.
Its 11.21 and "oh no they haven't"
Coo! Well done all round!
Does this mean we have to bow or curtsey at the start of each post, or can we still go on being healthily disrespectful?
Hey, well done!!! Well worth logging on this late at night for.
Congratulations to you Eric, and all of the PM team, who are a joy to interact with.....
Interacting, it's what we do ;o)
So i'm on the bus home after what can only be described as a surprisingly enjoyable evening; mainly because we won things. The silver 4 speech prog was fantastic. The gold 4 interactive was stunning. Other shows make it much more part of what they do, so 2 win was incredible. My thanks go - in no set order - 2 Lissa, Eric Muir and of course YOU because frankly without u interaction would be fairly oneway. Which isn't interaction. My bus has brought me home, we are the champions etc etc and photos may follow.
This is fantastic! Well done, all. Great to see you logging on, Marc - pix would be great.
Now there was a hangover 'cure' somewhere on the frog... the beach, perhaps? Might be worth checking...
Marc: (13)
First of all congratulations to the whole team!
I think what the Gold award means is that PM has the balance of interactivity *just* right, so that it's more effective than programmes that rely on it more heavily.
In other news, John Humphries got a lot of mentions. Is he retiring? (Cynical? Me? Hah!)
Congratulations!
Well done all.
I'm so proud.

We need a part of the blog called the mantelpiece for the awards really...
And we definitely need pictures!
Whooppeeeeee
Well done all of you, hope the hangovers aren't too bad.
Personally I've been up since six, frying eggs for the May Day breakfast we prepare for the hundred or so people who struggle to the top of our hill to watch the dawn and morris men...... freezing cold but beautiful...
O the merry merry month of May
Fried egg anyone?
Well done !
Congrats on here to - I seem to be posting left right and centre!
Aunt D - you lovely person! Was out early making a small libation...where are you? Never seen Morris Men on a hill.
Gold, SIlver and now lets make it bronze by giving you by two'penneth... (I'm frankly disgusted it took until the 22nd post for this joke to be uttered).
Well done to all for the hard work put in and the reqards are more than earned.
Regards
John
Congratulations to all those who made--and make--a show I NEVER miss!
I know this thread is ancient now ... but I'm banking that it'll turn up on the home page as a Recent Entry and attract the attention of competitive froggers out there!
Appeal for your help, froggers!
I am working on an anniversary project (among other things I'm a publisher) for the PM Blog.
Please, those of you who love the Frog, and who know Fifi enough to trust me, can you please send an email via the weblink attached to my name above, and I'll tell you more!
No obligation, and your privacy (as always) is guaranteed.
Look forward to hearing from you ... including lots who have dropped off the radar.

As nicotine is a powerful appetite inhibitor, I wonder what connection there is ,if any, between the rise of obesity and the attempted supression of smoking in Britain.

I don't think rights responsibility and respect is a new idea. The Dala Lama has been talking about this approach for many years.it is good it is catching on.
