ShrekTeaser1.jpgIf you're one of the people who's gone to see Avatar and helped it become the fastest movie to reach $1bn in ticket sales around the world then there's a good chance you'll have seen the 3D trailer for the 4th film in the Shrek franchise.

The first Shrek film came out in 2001 and won the first Academy Award For Best Animated Feature, since then we've had 2 sequels, a 4D theme park ride, a Christmas short and a stage musical. Shrek Forever After is the fourth and final movie in the franchise, but don't go thinking that'll stop team ogre. A spin off film, Puss in Boots: The Story of an Ogre Killer is due in 2011.

In the new film Shrek is a domesticated family man who finds himself in an alternative version of Far Far Away. We're most excited about the addition of the rather brilliant John (Jim in The American Office) Krasinski as Lancelot to the voice cast, who's currently got a scene stealing role in It's Complicated.

Anyway, in case you haven't seen Avatar yet but still want to see the trailer never fear as we've got it here for you to watch.
