ironman2_12thapril_online.jpgIron Man 2 - It suffers the usual 'too many bad guys' problem of sequels but Tony Stark and co are still on explosive blockbuster form with a nice line in smartass one-liners and AC/DC tunes. 4 stars.

The Last Song - Cheesier than a stuffed crust Quattro Formaggio but this Miley Cyrus weepy (based on the book by Nicholas 'The Notebook' Sparks) is still a slick slice of touchy feely teen romance. 3 stars.

The Disappearance Of Alice Creed - Minimal and matter-of-fact thriller with an awesome turn from Gemma Arterton as a girl kidnapped by ex-jailbirds after a quick buck. Icy, shocking and unforgettable. 5 stars.
