What's your fondest gaming memory?

Treble T | 10:54 UK time, Thursday, 25 June 2009

A couple of days ago Sonic celebrated its 18th birthday, congratulations!! Anyway it got us thinking about the 1st games we used to play like Pac-man or Street fighter on the Snes. I remember playing Outrun in the arcade inside Streatham bowling alley in South London!!! And I will never forget going to Thorpe Park and watching someone complete Dragons Lair (The 1st cartoon game) with my jaw on the floor!!
TTT

Now two games that stick in my head when I think gaming is Defender (Arcade style) and Altered Beasts on the Mega Drive. BRAPPPPPPPPP! I can remember going to the arcade in Tooting south London and spending my pocket money on that flipping game. Altered Beast was the first game on the Mega Drive that I ever completed without sleep.

What's your fondest gaming memory? What did you first clock or see being clocked?

Spectrum & Commodore 64, together with Amiga & Tandy. One of the most immersive game's in those days i remember though was the then Championship Manager, when Don Hutchinson was the best player on the planet, and the computer's didn't have enough memory that teams outside England like Juventus only had players listed as Foreign number 9 !!

    Hilarious !
