Scots Trad Music Awards 2009
This year's Scot's Trad Music Awards took place on Saturday 28th November at DG One, Hood's Loaning, Dumfries. Performers at the event included the Treacherous Orchestra, Barbara Dickson, Donnie Munro Band, Scottish Power Pipe Band, Ruaridh McMillan and Skipinnish.
´óÏó´«Ã½ Alba were at the event with Mary Ann Kennedy and Tony Kearney and you can watch highlights on Monday 30th November at 10PM.

Live Act of the Year: Lau
Citty Finlayson Scots Singer of the Year: Shona Donaldson
Scottish Dance Band of the Year: Tom Orr Scottish Dance Band
Scottish Folk Band of the Year: Bodega
Scottish Pipe Band of the Year: Haddington Pipe Band
Trad Music in the Media: The Reel Blend (´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Scotland)
Music Tutor of the Year: Ian Duncan
Up and Coming Artist of the Year: Paul McKenna Band
Venue of the Year Award: Old Fruitmarket
Lau, winners of this year's Best Live Act award, are live in session on Tuesday 1st December on Mary Ann Kennedy's Global Gathering on ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Scotland.
