As part of ´óÏó´«Ã½ Scotland's Year of Song and ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Scotland's Motivation season, Classics Unwrapped presenter Jamie McDougall presents five videos offering a short and snappy guide to singing.

Classics Unwrapped producer Lindsay Pell tells us more:

Have you always wanted to join a choir and learn to sing, but never quite got around to it? Perhaps you used to sing and life got too busy...?

Jamie MacDougall is here to motivate you into action as part of Radio Scotland's very motivational month - A New Year, New You. Classics Unwrapped will be looking at the joys and health benefits of singing and hearing from singers all over the country who can vouch for just how life enhancing and rewarding a hobby this can be! Could this be the year when you take up singing, join a choir and set out on a new musical adventure?

There are 122 choirs already on the ´óÏó´«Ã½ choirs website - and probably many more not listed. Why not have a look at bbc.co.uk/sing and choose 'find a choir' and listen to Jamie on Classics Unwrapped to hear why singing could change your life! Meanwhile, why not have a look at Jamie MacDougall's Quick Guide to Singing.
