Vic Galloway - Top 75 Albums of 2010
As we approach the the year's end it's time for Vic Galloway's mammoth round-up of his favourite albums from the past twelve months. Over to Vic:
Yes, it's the end of the year and time to compile a list of music I've liked over the last 12 months. This time, I couldn't get the number of albums under 75! Sorry about that. It shows that 2010 has been a pretty incredible year for new releases.
Forget the X-Factor, there's a whole world of tremendous, soulful, forward-thinking music out there waiting for you to investigate. Some of these albums you'll know, some you won't - but I'd advise you to hunt down a few of them to liven up any collection.
There's indie, rock, electronica, pop, hip-hop, folk, punk, jazz, dubstep and almost everything in between, from across Scotland and the World. I hope it inspires you to take the plunge and get those creative juices flowing.
What are your thoughts on the list? Agree? Disagree? What have I left out? The National? JLS? Let me know and leave comments below.
Although the others are in no particular order, I can firmly say that The Phantom Band clinch the top spot. So if there's one you should get, make it that one.
Enjoy!

Seriously though, a very fine list indeed and hard to argue with most of your top choices.
