Any organisation that has rules, written and/or practised, regulating its members conduct in relation to civil and criminal law should be under a legal obligation to make those rules public. Furthermore it should not be permitted, in a particular case, to take final responsibility in determining whether the civil or criminal law applies or to fail to ensure that notification of an offence is made to the appropriate public authorities.

The idents for me do not mean anything other than "I'm watching the ´óÏó´«Ã½ right now" - I've never cared if they are supposed to mean something beyond that. I'm sure the marketing wallahs have talked all sorts of rubbish to the ´óÏó´«Ã½ managers and they now think they have a new "brand" but basically nobody cares. I know what the ´óÏó´«Ã½ is, what it does, and a circle or a bloke in a wheelchair isn't going to change that.

It's like when the Post Office rebranded. We still all put our letters into the same postbox. Did we care that their website was a slightly different colour? No.

I'd be quite happy to do away with idents, and also the irritating plugs for other ´óÏó´«Ã½ shows on radio and television. Let's go back to one-hour shows actually lasting an hour.

Well I like idents in a way, and to be honest although on paper they cost a lot, they'll be used for the next 2-3 years, so considering they'll be repeated more than 10,000 times its worth spending some money to make them look good.

So a priest is "going to" make a complaint? When does such posturing become news? Sometime after the complaint is made, methinks.
