It's 90 years since the flu pandemic that killed millions of people worldwide. With winter drawing on, are vulnerable people in the UK still not taking flu seriously enough?

Lucy Siegle looked at what happened to suet - a once common British ingredient. Who still uses suet?

George was 'havin' a McGavin' for the final time as Bug Week drew to a close. Tonight's insect of choice was the mosquito.

Backstage at The One Show: Who's that girl?

One Show viewerEbunny1 writes: "The end of tonight's show (19/11/08) was hilarious. John and Christine dancing, Adrian and Kristina and....who WAS the chic that made a bee-line for Bryan Adams?"

Her name, dear viewers, is Vicki Lines - and she's an Assistant Producer. I asked her about the moment she rescued Bryan Adams, by running from behind the cameras and into his arms.

Vicki Lines dances with Bryan Adams on The One ShowVicki writes: "Bryan Adams  was about to drown in the choppy waters of live television but I was there to save him. Like a human life-ring I threw myself into the dark sea without a thought for my own safety.
"Everything I do, I do it for Bryan Adams (and any other celebs that need my assistance because we hadn't quite thought the item through thoroughly)".

Click here to watch Vicki run into Bryan's arms (you won't miss her at the end).
