Hopkins reflects on chasing Richard Burton's autograph

Ahead of the long-awaited release of his new film The Wolfman, Anthony Hopkins has spoken about how he once asked for Richard Burton's autograph as a 17-year-old - and how the Hollywood star teased his knowledge of rugby.

The 72-year-old actor has revealed that Burton, his boyhood hero, challenged his "Welshness" the day he went to his home to request his autograph - when he questioned him on the forthcoming international rugby match in Cardiff. .

Hopkins stars as Sir John Talbot in Joe Johnston's remake of the 1941 horror film The Wolfman, which also stars Benicio Del Toro and Emily Blunt and is released in cinemas this Friday.
