Play on life of Josef Herman to open in Swansea

A play dramatising the life of Polish artist Josef Herman and his time spent in Ystradgynlais is to open in Swansea.

Herman is fondly remembered for his depictions of the Welsh mining community of Ystradgynlais. Having originally visited the Swansea Valley town for a holiday in 1944, he was to make it his home for the next 11 years until 1955.
The Secret of Belonging by Michael Waters opens at the on 22 April.
