Doctor Who TARDIS and Daleks to go under the hammer
Memorabilia from hit ´óÏó´«Ã½ show Doctor Who, including a TARDIS prop used in filming series one with Christopher Eccleston as the Ninth Doctor, will go under the hammer next week.
Bonhams in Knightsbridge have a number of lots related to the show, including what they believe are some of the oldest props from the series ever to appear at auction.
They are offering what is believed to be the earliest surviving Dalek, used in Dr. Who And The Daleks (1964) and The Chase (1965).
Another Dalek is also for sale with both expected to make £2000 - £3000. The estimate for the TARDIS stands at £8,000 - £12,000
Other lots up for sale on Wednesday 23 June include Zog and Cybermen costumes, a Cyberman helmet from 1967 episodes The Moonbase and Tomb of the Cybermen, a Dalek Guard costume worn by Rula Lenska and various replica models.
Eccleston, who , will soon appear in the lead role of a new ´óÏó´«Ã½ documentary on the life of John Lennon, Lennon Naked.
