The follow-up to his platinum-selling self-titled debut album has been co-produced by Karl Jenkins and features duets by Bryn Terfel and Dame Kiri Te Kanawa.

In an interview with Rhydian on the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Mid Wales website, Rhydian said, "It was Simon Cowell's idea for me to sing, O Fortuna. It has turned out well but it was difficult to set an arrangement for a soloist".

"Simon Cowell wanted this album to have a Welsh concept but I thought this was risky because it had been done before by Katherine Jenkins, Aled Jones and Harry Secombe.

"I wanted a more refined album. We brainstormed a lot of ideas but I needed to have songs on the album that people know."
