Lucie Jones, the Welsh contestant booted off the show in controversial circumstances in favour of , has announced a charity single in aid of .

Lucie, along with Kym Marsh, Carol Decker, Penny Smith, Liz McClarnon, Sonique and The Cheeky Girls, will record a version of Cyndi Lauper's Girls Just Wanna Have Fun to run alongside the charity's Race For Life.
