Sad blog

I sadly write to inform everyone in blogland that Scooby our 'old faithful' cat has died.

Scooby, who some of the crew had met, has now gone the same way as 'one of the fish' Koi carp and who was also filmed in the run up to Not In My Nature.

It's so hard to lose a pet. We've had Scooby for 13 years and he has been well above me in the Edwards household pecking order for many years. With my full agreement, of course!

After one last visit to the vet, Scooby was beaten by massive kidney failure. He's now at peace in the back garden and joins a large selection of pets through the decades who already hold positions in the garden. He'll be missed greatly and many tears will continue to be shed :0(

When I got back from our travels yesterday my cat Coco didn't appear for hours and as this is totally out of character behaviour (normally it seems like she can hear me a mile off - wonder why!) I thought I had lost her. Iolo had predicted she would run off during the week too so that didn't help. But I woke in the night to find her licking my face. I so empathise with you and your family on this, but it sounds like Scooby had a lovely life and you loved her well.

Hi Chris, great to meet you yesterday on Gower and hope you are inspired by the amazing life found on rocky shores. I expect to hear that you were convinced that marine life in Wales is fascinating!

I was sorry to hear about your cat. I have 2 myself and they celebrated their 19th birthdays last week.

Keep up the good work and look forward to seeing 'our' episode. Remember, rockpools rock!
    cheers
