Ancient oak splits in two

A tree which has stood for hundreds of years in the Ceriog Valley near Chirk, Wrexham, has split because of recent cold weather.

The Great Oak at the Gates of the Dead has stood for 1,200 years and was recently featured on ´óÏó´«Ã½'s Countryfile programme.
