More and more young people are posting worrying messages to this website asking for help and advice as they fight health problems related to weight loss.

Among the latest is Catie who writes: "I am a bulimic. I wake up in the middle of the night and throw up for 1 hour... someone help."

Meanwhile, anonymous 'XX-XX' left the message: "I want to take help but don't want to get too fat."

Other girls have been trying to offer advice by sharing their own experiences, like Izzy: "I am 14 now and I am anorexic. I go to the doctors every month now and I'm gaining weight.

"When I was sick 6 months ago life was like hell. All I could think of was how to skip dinner. But now I really feel much happier. I love my life and I have got my friends back. Sometimes I think that I shouldn't eat that much but I always remind myself that I'm beautiful the way I am and I don't care how others look."

So where does the problem come from? Grace echoes the views of fellow contributors when she says: "I agree that the media has a significant impact on the way we view people and I know that I am not happy with the way I look and believe me I have tried everything.

"I guess it is hard to realise that we should be happy no matter what we look like and what size we are."
