Nick - Web Team Nick - Web Team | 08:19 UK time, Tuesday, 23 January 2007

I see there has been another case of so-called postcode lottery - where the health service you get in one part of the country is not the same as another due to the way local health officials spend their money.

Lucy Shennan, 36 from Carmel, Holywell, who suffers from rheumatoid arthritis, was told she couldn’t receive a drug because of a lack of funding - but Conwy and Denbighshire NHS Trust had a change of heart after the local paper, stepped in.

The NHS was supposed to offer the same health service for us all, wasn't it?
