Some fiery conversations today. First we heard from Tel Aviv where the first suicide bombing since Palestinians elected Hamas. Nik had been to the scene and described the devastation. Listeners sent us their response and you can read them here.

Fahd from Yemen

I think it's undoubtedly bad, but it comes as a natural outcome of the worse conditions caused by Israeli occupation.

Eamonn, Folkestone, Kent

I've said it before and I'll saying it again. The Palestinians keep justifying all their attacks on the occupation. These areas are occupied because the Palestinians along with their friends tried in 1967 tried to destroy Israel.

Don, Nigeria

Supporting the Palestine govt amounts to supporting terrorism.

Nonso, Nigeria.

The gloves are off in this war. The Israelis can now legitimately target the elected and electorate among the Palestinians.

Solomon, Nigerian in the USA

Until the West and the Israelis begin to value Palestinian lives as equally important as the Israelis, and offer a balanced view of the problems, there may never be peace.

Chijioke ozumba.

Israel like other nation are trying to make peace so killing or suicide bombing is not good for the people responsible for that.

Anon

There is a chance for peace between Palestinians and Israel. That Hamas , a supposedly terror group can use the ballot and not violence to be in government says a lot about the organisation. The tough talk from Israel, shelling into Gaza, blackmail from the west is not helpful. I see an opportunity for peace if the international community can have the will.

We also heard stories from the Whitehouse lawn as Family Pride Coalition, a Washington, D.C based gay rights group, attended the annual Easter Egg roll, to raise awareness of their campaign. You sent in your comments by texts and comments:

Tony Agofure. Abuja

Until scientists perfect cloning, gays and lesbians should forget about raising children. If they love kids, they've got to produce theirs.

Anon

I think a same sex relationship doesn't go beyond sex. So as long as two men or two ladies have sex and hang out together its ok, but starting a family is like ostracizing yourself. Besides even if they raise a child will the child be forced to be a gay/lesbian even if the child doesn't want to?

Earle, Jamaica

Gay couples have the same right to be parents as anyone else.

Glenn, Michigan

I am amazed at the prejudice of so many people around the world. My experience is that same sex couples work harder and take the issue of raising children more seriously than heterosexual couples. If heterosexual couples had to work as hard to get married, make a good life for themselves and their partner, have and raise children there would be a great improvement in the status of children today.

Jared, Mombassa, Kenya

Those who are not inclined to partake in the natural process of procreation should learn to live without children. What family morals can they pass on to the kids?

Anyii, Kampala

Homosexuality is sinful; homosexual couples should not be allowed to raise children because they will bring them up in a sinful way!

Although we said we would be hearing from Nepal, time ran away with us. But hopefully we will return to it tomorrow. You still sent us your reaction.

Geoff V

The King is the saviour of his country, standing alone against the evil oppression of communism.

Sarad, Biratnagar

Nepal can achieve stability only after establishing a republic and by the actually participation in the democratic process including the making the new constitution by the election.

Tanya, Kathmandu

The strike should continue until it achieves the aim - the end of a totalitarian royal regime. There is no doubt that the strike is affecting all spheres of life. But, people should have patience and take it as a final blow.

Tom, San Diego

The present king should relinquish his power, and abdicate. He lives in the past.

Shishir, Kathmandu

With years long political unrest, Nepalese citizens did not have any option but to launch a movement against the cause of the crisis. Now that the movement has gained international attention, there is hardly any reason to abandon the movement and to settle for a compromise.

Finally we spoke to two young Africans Loyal in Malawi and Abby in Liberia who are keen to attend university but cannot find and organise funding. Do you have a similar story?

Daniel

It's a common problem on the African continent. Many of us want to get enrolled, but who can give us the push we need.

Ja'afar

It is getting difficult and more expensive to secure admission in Nigeria. Only the rich can now afford university education in the country.

What should we be talking about tomorrow? Send us your suggestions. You can also post your comment after any of the subject postings if you want to take part in the debate.
