Hottest Record - Alice In Chains - Acid Bubble

Alice In Chains rock. Always have done. I was worried the new songs, their first in 14 years, would lack the urgency they had during the rollercoaster they were on with original and now sadly deceased singer, Layne Staley. No need for alarm. The album is great and tonights Hottest Record proves that. Proper heavy and melodic, this is the return of the heavy stuff. Enjoy.

Scary how much like LS he sounds at times. Hearing the preview of comeback single, I was thinking "Have they unearthed some unused vocals from Layne or something? It's HIM!" For all those unfamiliar with their catalogue, go get 'Dirt' (legally) right now.

Very disturbing listen lyrically, but if you love hard rock it will floor you.
