Oakwell Hall, Birstall

Oakwell Hall in Birstall is famous both for its Bronte connections - it's believed to be "Fieldhead" in Charlotte Bronte's novel 'Shirley' - and for its location near the site of the famous Civil War Battle of Adwalton Moor.
