´óÏó´«Ã½ Three factual development schemes

Working with and introducing new talent is something we’re hugely passionate about at ´óÏó´«Ã½ Three.
— Fiona Campbell, Controller, ´óÏó´«Ã½ Three

The ´óÏó´«Ã½ Three Factual Development Schemes aim to champion local companies who want to develop creative and innovative factual and factual entertainment formats that can engage the whole of the UK.

We want to tell young, unique and regional stories that reflect the life experiences of 16-24 year-olds, to enhance the quality and volume of production supply, and to develop a talent pipeline from outside London.

They are a collaboration between ´óÏó´«Ã½ Three, ´óÏó´«Ã½ Nations and regions and Screen agencies, with the aim of giving opportunity to indies across the whole of the UK.

Schemes launched so far include Northern Voices, North East VoicesWest Midlands Voices, and factual development schemes in Northern Ireland, and Scotland. Creative partners have included Create Central, Northern Ireland Screen, Creative Wales and Screen Scotland.

All schemes are competitive and offer a guaranteed network commission to at least one successful indie. The editorial proposition focuses exclusively on youth audiences, and proposals are built around their aspirations, interests and experiences.

Pilots and commissions resulting from these schemes so far include The Fast and the Farmer(ish) and Fast Food Face Off from Northern Ireland based companies, Bricking It, No More: Bad Girl and Nail Bar Boys from indies based in the North of England, Flight Club and Wild Weekends from Scottish companies,  from Wales and Mother Trucker, Fresh Cops and Filthy Business from West Midlands indies.

Details of each new scheme will be published on this website, so keep checking back to find the latest opportunities.
